and because I can't post without an image, here is a recent favorite. You could just squeeeeeeze this little guy!!!!!

My favorite age

OK, so while I love working with children of all ages (my husband included), I have to say my favorite has to be 7 months old! They are round and cute and happy, and they can't run away from me! This little girl and her very sweet family were such a joy!

The Flirt

The flirting has started early for this little guy! He was sooooo cute, and he knew it!

"We didn't get anything"

So sometimes, especially with 2 year olds, we have a situation where a child does NOT want to stay still long enough to have her photograph taken (which takes about 1/125 of a second!!!). This wild woman was one of those kiddos. She didn't stop for anything. By the end of it, her parents were apologizing and in need of a glass of wine! She wasn't being bad, she was just being two. And I know they left feeling like we didn't get one good shot. So for those of you who leave with that feeling, let this be some reassurance for you. Here are four from her session, and there were many many more!

Sisters

so since I posted about brothers the other day, I thought I would share these sisters. They were so photogenic, and alot of fun. This first one is one of my favorites! It is so girly.

Miss Thang

This little girl is close to my heart, and I just love her family so much! She was ALL that, let me tell you! And she has the most fabulous wardrobe of any one year old I have seen!

Just one that I liked

This little girl came in with her baby brother and tried to steal the show! I love how angelic she looks here!

I've got my eye on you!

This expression cracked me up! This is one of our families on our baby plan, and he has so much personality!

Brothers

These three boys were a ball of fun! This is the second time I have had the opportunity to photograph them. The first time the little guy was just a baby, and very very calm. He is now the instigator in the group, and a lively toddler! We really had a great time working with them, and I felt this series of images portrays brotherhood so well! (but what do I know, I am just a girl!)
